Metro closest is Lago.
As a place where we can be outdoors but not face possible death-by-sunlight I suggest the outdoor pool section of Polideportivo Casa de Campo. The entrance is around €4.50. We can bring blankets and board games, snacks and drinks. This way if someone is getting close to death, they can be pushed into the pool for revivification purposes. There are many shaded areas to avoid direct sunlight on geeky paleness. I don’t know of any pool closer into town that’s big.

New business and diplomatic contacts, prosciutto di Parma, the clinking of champagne flutes. This is what the seven guests of the Italian embassy picture in their minds when they confirm their attendance to a summer soirée.
Within the safe marble walls of the Palazzo di Santa Coloma, these handpicked VIPs will gossip and boast and giggle… until the unexpected happens, changing the nature of the night entirely and making them resort to the most desperate of measures.
‘Mind Games at the Embassy’ is a mystery parlour game for four ladies and four gentlemen that will test your social skills and your intuition. Tread carefully if you want to become the winner… or simply stay alive.

A bit last minute, but this is the last weekend my roomy place is available for boardgames before the master returns and we’ll be kicked out. Let’s do some mind games to see if you can find out who is a good liar and how your peers think! Feel free to bring your own (short) games though.

I had a blast last weekend and since nothing is planned for this one I think I may as well step in and host a gaming session! “Local” games are Hobbit Tales, Blood Rage (both for 2-5 players) and Werewolves (Les Loups Garous de Thiercelieux or Hombres Lobo de Castronegro, as it’s called in Spanish). I’m afraid I have room just for five people.

The last stand has fallen. Alan’s Tirith, our beloved white tower that eradiated hope and gamer’s bliss onto the Madrid skyline nothing but empty ruins. Defeat however being no concept to this ancient culture, the hardened game veterans able to survive the slaughter of last Friday gather once more in the attempt to gain immortality through honouring their creed till the very end: If we die, we die with the Highscore!
Madness you say? THIS – IS – GAMES NIGHT!!!
I have some nice games, but feel free to bring whatever you like to play! Filthy casual gamers though trying to sneak in party games such as Taboo and Twister will be pushed off the cliff.

Come on out for the final showdown of the ’15-’16 season! There’s been a lot of build up to this final games night so be sure to stay tuned: Will Raul send someone else to the hospital? Will Morten finally win a game? Will Paul reveal his secret identity?
I have Settlers of Catan with all of the expansions and please feel free to bring your own game(s). Let’s see what we can put together! Feel free to comment if you have any games that you’d like to bring.

Back in 2001 a genius decided to create a tribute to Douglas Adams, legendary author of the The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy.
It is settle two weeks after his death. On that day, fans around the universe carry a towel in his honor.
So people, let´s play some games, drink some beers and carry a towel! We can bring space-relate games, make eventually rolling the dice looking for a 42, so we all get a shot (thank u Joris for this ideas!) Anything is possible, even more if u have your towel!
