The 1920s and 1930s were a time of turmoil for the whole world. Revolutions, bigotry, genocide, political instability, widespread poverty. New ideologies, discoveries and avant-garde art were forcing their way across continents. Maybe you thought yourself safe from all of this, but now there is a stench in your town that doesn’t smell of fascism, bolshevism or illuminated intellectuals. It’s a presence that lurks. It’s a presence that whispers. It will consume everything you hold dear.
Dear geeks, I’m planning to start a new Trail of Cthulhu game this January for five players. It is a role-playing game in which you and your fellow investigators will uncover (and maybe try to stop) the terrible plans of the strange entities that threaten our planet. If you like cosmic horror, the noir genre, and the worlds of H.P. Lovecraft and associates, feel free to join the event, even if you have never played a tabletop RPG before. I’m looking preferably for people who are not involved in other RPGs in this group (just because it can be really hard to find suitable dates for all to meet up). I can’t promise you will get scared, but we’ll do our best to have an enjoyably disturbing time.
(The date and time shown here are orientative and absolutely open for discussion)
